Picnic for Two

Located four miles Northwest of the Inn is one of the “8 Wonders of Kansas,” Coronado Heights. It is alleged to be near the place where Francisco Vásquez de Coronado gave up his search for the seven cities of gold and started his journey back to Mexico. Now, Coronado Heights is home to many trails, picnic spots, firepits, and a rustic sandstone castle! Let us pack a picnic for you! Our staff will prepare a picnic basket with sandwiches, fruit, chips, and a bottle of wine for the cost of the items + a $25 courtesy fee.
