Rates

Most room rates are based on single or double occupancy, with the exception of the Executive Suite rate that covers up to four guests. While the Inn does have specified suites that may accommodate more than two guests, not all rooms allow for the comfort and safety of additional guests. Our helpful desk staff would be happy to answer any questions and advise on appropriate rooms to comfortably and safely accommodate the number in your party.  Sales tax of 9.5% and bed tax of 6% will be added to the final bill unless a sales tax exemption certificate is provided.  All rates include breakfast for each lodging guests unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and plans change from time to time. Please understand that making a reservation at a small inn is not the same as making a reservation at a chain hotel. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly and a last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made 24 hours or less prior to 3:00 p.m. of arrival date will be charged in full. Cancellations made 48 to 24 hours prior to 3:00 p.m. of arrival date will be charged one full night’s stay. Trip insurance is advisable, especially for guests traveling during seasons of inclement weather and elevated communicable illness.

Outside guests are welcome to join lodging guests of the Inn for breakfast. Breakfast prices for additional dining guests can be found posted outside the dining room. To help us better accommodate all our guests, please provide desk staff with advanced notice by check-in of any additional outside breakfast guests. For large groups of outside dining guests, we ask for 3 days advanced notice to offer our best service.

Should damage or replacement exceed $250, a detailed bill will be issued and your card on file charged accordingly.

Missing Amenities

We are certain that you will enjoy your stay with us so much that you will want to take your experience home with you! For this reason, we offer many of the Inn amenities for sale in our Gift Shop. Should your room be missing any amenities such as bedding, towels, throw blanket, décor, etc., we will assume you chose to take your experience home with you and will charge your card on file accordingly.  All rooms are checked and inspected prior to check-in. Upon check-in please keep your room locked at all times as you are responsible for anything missing from your room.

Room Key

Because we have a limited number of keys for each room, please remember to return your key to the front desk upon check-out.  Keys returned more than 4 hours after check-out may incur a $10 charge to your bank card on file. For missing or lost keys a $25 replacement fee will be charged to your card on file.

Noise Ordinances

Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. Because the Dröm Sött Inn is a historic building with guests residing in close proximity to each other, we request guests be considerate of other guests when using televisions, opening and closing doors, and conversing in hallways or common areas of the Inn. Guests found to be excessively loud during quiet hours and disruptive to the experience of any lodging guest of the Inn may incur a $250 disturbance fee charged to your card on file and possibly asked to leave the premises without refund.

Children

The Dröm Sött Inn is a family-friendly environment and welcomes guests of all ages.  Many guests staying at the Inn have chosen to stay in order to rest and relax.  For this reason, we ask that parents are respectful and courteous to all our guests.  All children should be supervised and should not be allowed to run through the halls, jump on furniture, or make an excessive amount of noise. Guests or members of their party found to be excessively loud during and disruptive to the experience of any lodging guest of the Inn may incur a $250 disturbance fee charged to your card on file and possibly asked to leave the premises without a refund.

Outside Guests

We recognize that our guests may want to invite friends or family to join them at the Inn. Depending on the occupancy, this may be permissible. Our helpful desk staff would be happy to advise on occupancy constraints and additional room availability. It is the responsibility of the Inn guest to ensure that anyone accompanying them on the property comply with all Inn policies.

Alcohol Policy

Although the inn is not licensed to sell or provide alcohol at the property, guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages. For the safety and comfort of all guests, please drink responsibly. Please use the utmost care when consuming beverages inside the Inn as you will be responsible for any damage that may be caused from spills and accidents.

Pet Policy

While we are pet lovers, companion and emotional support pets are not allowed at the Inn. If you require pet boarding during your visit to Lindsborg, our helpful desk staff can provide you with a list of local boarding options.

In compliance with ADA and Kansas State law, service animals defined as specially selected, trained, and tested to mitigate specific disabilities of their handler are welcome. Emotional support animals are not provided the same accommodation under ADA or Kansas State law as service animals. For further explanation, please refer to Kansas Statute 39-1113

In addition, ADA and Kansas State Law allow accommodation to be revoked for any service animal should it pose a direct threat to health or safety, such as aggressively barking, snapping, urinating, defecating, or being demonstratively out of effective control of it’s handler. In such cases, a minimum $250 damage/nuisance fee will be charged to your bank card on file. Should damage or replacement exceed $250, a detailed bill will be issued and your card on file charged accordingly.
